Hadyn is an experienced agribusiness consultant from New Zealand with 18 years of hands on farm management, applied science and investment experience. Hadyn holds a Master of Science from Otago University, NZ and has deployed practical and scientific expertise across projects for New Zealand’s leading agri consultancy. His special interests are integrating innovation that impacts the economic performance and sustainability of farm businesses, especially in the areas of animal breeding/genetics and production system technology. Hadyn enjoys working with value-add investment opportunities so he can apply pragmatic solutions to problems and leverage his expertise to maximise returns and capital value of assets. Experienced in all areas of ag investing, Hadyn has worked on projects across the globe and is currently integrating UK AgTech initiatives into large scale cattle farming in Paraguay.

A keen sportsman with a passion for outdoor activity, Hadyn lives on West Coast of Scotland with his partner and two children.

Charlie Hancock

With 25 years’ experience in the fresh produce industry managing farmland, vegetable packing plants and supply chain, Charlie has operated at every level of agri business. Delivering improved business performance scaling up high value crops into food service, wholesale and major supermarkets in the UK and EU. An experienced whole farm business manager, Charlie has led evaluation, land acquisition and business restructures driving efficiencies through centralisation and the integration of up to date technologies. Qualified in Agriculture and Farm Management from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Charlie is a lively communicator with a passion for investment. Stakeholder alignment, facilitation and turning around distressed projects he operates with ease at high and ground level. With experience in China, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Nigeria and Bangladesh his focus is Sri Lanka and SE Asia and spends 3 months a year in the region.

Charlie, once a jump jockey is an avid sports enthusiast and lives with his partner near Ely in Cambridgeshire.


Lawrence Brown

Dr Lawrence Brown BVM&S MRCVS is a qualified veterinary surgeon and consultant with international experience of clinical practice, the wider animal health sector and sustainable food production. Lawrence currently advises the UK Government as the Animal Health and Aquaculture Sector Specialist at the Department for International Trade, supporting to attract foreign direct investment to the UK and facilitate future trade partnerships. He is an elected member of the British Veterinary Association’s Scottish Council and Life Sciences Scotland Industry Leadership Group for Animal Health, Aquaculture and Agritech.

Lawrence jointly-founded ‘A3 Scotland’, Scotland’s premier event for sustainable food production and is an invited mentor to start-ups at GROW, Southeast Asia’s largest Agri-food tech accelerator. Lawrence has recently completed his part-time postgraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh Business School, where he was awarded the highly contested Leadership Scholarship to study for an Executive MBA qualification, and is awaiting confirmation of his graduation.

He lives in Edinburgh with his wife and daughter.

Debbie spent 15 years running her own global high performance consultancy for equestrian sport, managing Olympic and World Games athletes. She qualified in Corporate Sustainability and ESG for Investment, working with businesses to develop their ESG strategy’s. She has been a member of the Cap Ag team since 2018, focusing her expertise in sustainable agricultural development and marketing on the firms food production projects in Sri Lanka.

Debbie lives in Dorset, England.
